Part-Time/Locum Nurse in the Student Health Section

·         Consultation and diagnosing patients-
students and staff

·         Provision of nursing care to students and
staff

·        
Health Education and counseling of
affected clients and their significant others

·        
Drug dispensing and administration of
intravenous infusions and injections

·        
Referral of complicated cases and
follow-ups of clients by phone or ambulance

·        
Suturing and dressing wounds

·        
Management of clients who fall ill at
night and during weekends as well as assisting with housekeeping issues when
the warden is away

·        
Monitoring patients with chronic
conditions

·        
Offering first aid services during
university events

·        
Carrying out any other duties as assigned
by the Chief Nursing Officer from time to time

·        
A minimum of 5 “O” levels including
English Language

·        
Diploma in General Nursing

·        
Registered with the Nurses Council of
Zimbabwe

·        
A valid practicing certificate

·        
One-year of post-qualification experience

·        
Midwifery added advantage

·        
VCT added advantage

·
