The
successful candidate should be able to teach the following courses in the
Department of Peace and Governance.

§  Information
Organization and Metadata

§  Information
Technology and Digital Systems

§  Data Science and
Research Management

§  Records,
Archives and Preservation

§  Information
Literacy and User Services

§  Knowledge and
Strategic Management

§  Collection
Management and Information Resources

§  Information
Ethics, Law and Society

§  And any other
related courses offered by the Department of Peace and                

Governance.

Applicants
must have at least a Master's degree in Library and Information Science/Information
Systems/Information and Knowledge Management, and a relevant first degree.  A PhD in the same field or evidence of
working towards one is an added advantage. 
The applicant must have a minimum of two years of university teaching
experience at a tertiary institution.

The
candidate should be able to contribute to the mandate of the university through
teaching, research, university/community service, innovation, and
industrialisation. In addition, the candidate should be able to supervise
students’ projects and dissertations.
